After a loooong day yesterday, I was busy all day today editing video I shot yesterday and photos I shot this afternoon.  Exhausted, but always happy to work with images…  Here’s St. Francis, who gives me the same calming feelings as Virgin Mary, Buddha and Kuan Yin.  After all, they’re all some sort of enlightened, right?

We took down all the pictures when we painted our walls last month before the holidays.

Now they’ve been sitting on the floor as we keep talking about putting them back up “next weekend”…….

I must admit I’m a bit peeved about the proliferation of Buddha images everywhere.

Yet I am one who has numerous Buddha images in my living space.  At least, I consider myself as a Buddhist with a meditation practice learning the teachings of Buddha, which I deeply resonate with.  On this Buddha, there’s a little angel I found on a sidewalk about a month ago.  The angel has one arm and one wing, so I brought her back to Buddha’s lap so she will be healed.
