We had Easter dinner at my in-laws in Chicago with a friend of theirs, Zelma, who came with Claire, the spitz.  Apparently, Claire and Pablo are “special” friends as Claire is normally very finicky about other dogs but happily shares attention with Pablo. Claire even shared Zelma’s lap with Pablo — of course, they were eyeing on the turkey on the kitchen counter.

Our Angel is gone, on a flight to Chicago.  As much as we would have liked her to stay with us, it was just the right thing to do.  Good bye, Angel!

Angel arrived last night from Mesa, Arizona.  She belonged to Collette, my husband’s twin sister, who just passed away last week unexpectedly.  She’s a 9-month old Buchon Frise.  Her journey continues from here to Chicago tomorrow on an airplane where she’ll meet her human siblings.  I wish we could keep her….

I’m trying out to see if I can shoot dogs as well.  Enter Mandy, my friend Monica’s Brittany Spaniel.  She had a big swim this morning in the ocean this morning, which is why she was on her bed… of course, until Monica made a squirrel sound!
